I would love to try 0.9.6 Alpha, especially since most of my accounts have migrated from fxxxx servers to mcxxx servers and I can no longer download my mail using 9.5.1 or 9.5.3(the USERID.Inbox_page0.html response is a 404 page by the way!). However after install the program generates the following error message when I try to run it:

Error Starting Program

The LIBCURL.DLL file is linked to missing export WLDAP32.DLL:301.

The WLDAP32.DLL file does exist in Windows\System (Win98SE on an old Athlon)

Any Ideas?

Hi, after many weeks Ypops dont' work any more. So I upgaded the lastet version to the 0.9.6 alpha 1 version.

The Solution is Simple.

Pay Yahoo the $19.95 and instantly you may use any POP Client to access your email on Yahoo!

Alternatively we must be patient -
The programmers have a challenge on thier hands and it may never get fixed.... Yahoo wants to get paid not circumvented!

Good Morning..I have downloaded the 0.9.6 version, as the previous version would no longer work at downloading or receiving emails. After converting my Yahoo accounts (I have two of them) to the new version, I am able to successfully download from both accounts; however, I am not able to send any messages. When I complete the test account steps in the tools, enter new account page, it tells me that "Send Test Email Message: Unable to send test message. Please verify the email address." Ironically, this error only occurs for one of the email accounts, not for both. Is there something that I am doing incorrectly or is this expected as this is an unstable release? (I am running Outlook 2003 on an XP operating system, if that is necessary information.)

If it would help to include a log, please let me know and I will be happy to do so. I am beyond pleased with YPOPS and am very grateful that you have developed this program!

Suddenly, in the past two days, Ypops 0.9.6 Alfa 1 stopped downloading. I am getting no errors. All I can see is that it is logging into POP server, but and then the download sequence just disappears. I do have over 100 emails in my Yahoo inbox.
I am using the domain yahoo.com in the configurations settings.
My email client is Eudora 7.1.0.9 paid. I tried reverting to Ypops 0.9.5.1 but the same thing happens when I try to download I am still able to send email.

I have not tried the alpha version, but wanted to comment on your point:
"I have tested email downloads using the Classic and New Interfaces of Yahoo! Mail and it seems to be working on a variety of email servers, except for *mc* servers running on the Classic Interface. Configure your Yahoo! interface to either Classic on the New Interface depending on which server it is hosted on. You can always check this by looking at the URL in the address bar when you login using a browser.

This issues also exists on the stable version 0.9.5.1
I looked for a newer version just because it wouldn't download mails to my email client, but I was able to see them on the web.
I was on an MC server with the classic interface.
Reading your comment, I switched, and voila!!! I had it downloaded to my client....

The issue doens't exist on yahoo serves 'F' but when they changed their interface us MC & MG for 'SELECT' customers

Have tried switching from classic to new to classic, but not had much luck.

However tonight I switched to New about 24 hours ago and I was able to retrieve 1 message out of about 15. It failed trying to get the second message.
I then configured to only retrieve 1 email at a time (time consuming) BUT its able to now pull down my messages 1 at a time if I wait a little bit in between each attempt. I had been on an mc server but now it seems I am on mg2...

As always YMMV and thank you for a wonderful tool.

I am not having any problem sending or receiving, however, I get the same message over and over and over until I go to the yahoo server and delete all the messages. The program seems not to know the difference between read and unread and it also downloads all the spam that I don't want, over and over and you get the picture. I originally changed to this version because I was not able to send at all with the old version. Now, I am thinking of switching back and using gmail to send because deleting repeat messages, given the number I get everyday is too time consuming. I am using XP PRO version 2002 service pack 3 and the new interface for yahoo.
