Ypops randomly stopped working

I had an account that has been working fine and it seems that it has stopped working for the last few days. I have also found that Ypops will occasionally suck up all of my CPU processing. I noticed that my computer has slowed down considerably only to find that YPOPs is using 90% of the cpu processor. Any ideas why?
