IMHO only the IN BOX.

You could move the contents of those folders
back to your INBOX and mark them as unread,
then download from there.

There is still a problem with this site. Inadvertently used IE7 instead of my well protected Firefox to enter and once more got a virus warning from Avast:

Noticed something peculiar this morning. Yahoo Asia opens just bare bones in Firefox, not even a Sign Out option. Yet it opens just fine in IE7 with all the favicons, sign out option etc..

"This did not work for me. I think it was a glitch, and Yahoo caught on." -- edit: It works now. Thanks to the user who posted the link on how to change pop settings. Of course, Mail Asia switched to mail Ireland/UK when I did it for some reason... but it still works, so I'm not arguing.

Thank you YPOPS, and I hope that if Yahoo ever decides to be idiots about things (hey, pop allows us to clear our messages off the server more easily! saves them money in the long run! less servers!) again, I'll go back to YPOPS.

can i get some input from some of you that it is NOT working for?

i have 2 different accounts that have the same password but different email IDs - so I think that I've come to the conclusion (based SOLELY on my personal testing) that if the email address (or ID in that they are the same) has a number in it, this will not work can someone prove me wrong - i would love to know why this still does NOT work for me, and this is the only conclusion i can come up with!

***EDIT*** well I just proved myself wrong.

I have yet another email account i set to yahoo asia at least a week ago, and tested it tonight with no numbers in the ID and it doesn't work either.

this seems to be HIT or MISS - so don't everybody get their hopes up.
so far I have 1 out of 4 emails working at this time.

It worked fine for me. You have to turn on pop mail in the yahoo settings.

Oh ya, my email has numbers too.

thanks for the heads up - I wasn't aware that I needed to change a setting like that - as I didn't have to do it with my account that is working.

it IS working now, so I'll check my other accounts.
thanks for that heads up!

I discovered it to just today when I got an error-500. Couldn't open y!webmail for some server fault, I am set to yahoo Asia. My better half has US acct and it was working fine. I tried to log on and mingle with the settings when I stumbled to thid supposedly premium settings.

I uninstalled ypops for now after using it for about half a decade. :D

Thanks and Godspeed to everyone.

Now if only there was a way to have the sent messages saved on Yahoo when Outlook, OE, etc. are utilized.

WOW! Worked for me PERFECTLY! I've been having problems with YPops for several weeks. I thought it was due to Vista, firewall settings, or even a change in the host file for localhosts. I was getting frustrated and happened to look here and found this thread. After making the changes (account settings to Asia and setting POP mail), I am now able to access POP mail using Becky Internet Mail.

Hello! I use YPOPS since a few years ago, but I cannot send any mail with the newer versions. I've tried with Yahoo ASIA but the POP# & FORWARDING option doesen't appear in my account options menu. PLEASE, tell me what to do! My OS is Vista Home Premium and I use IE7. WHY the POP & FORWARDING menu doesn't appear after I switch to yahoo ASIA???
