These errors are indicative of a problem with Yahoo! Mail. There is a fix in the works. Hopefully soon. No I do not know when. See this thread Next steps for YPOPs!

I am using OE and here is the error displayed by OE receiving mail.
Message number 1 could not be retrieved. Account: '127.0.0.1', Server: '127.0.0.1', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR message 1 could not be downloaded', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800420CD. I have uploaded the OE configuration IAF file as a text file by renaming it since the upload would not accept an iaf file. The ypops receive advanced log is attached as ypops.log.

Last weekend, YPOPS stopped working with Yahoo. I can no longer receive my email into Outlook. I am running Windows Vista, with MS Office 2007 Ultimate. I have tried the usual fixes - uninstalling/reinstalling release .15, and uninstalled again, this time installing release 9.6 alpha. No results. I tried the repair function in Outlook Data File Management, etc, all without result. I have spend a week on this and not sure how to proceed. The error message is as follows:

I really enjoy the convenience of YPOPS, and am in the process of migrating away from Yahoo. (It's a long process as I have been with Yahoo for a long time). Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am encountering a couple of problems:
1. I frequently receive blank e-mail messages - no sender, no addressee, no message - NOTHING.
2. Periodically I get "The connection to the server was Interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Today, I received the following message:

I am running Windows XPPro and Outlook (Office) 2007. My ISP is AT&T (via "sbcglobal.net") but the tech, when he installed, didn't ask if I had a Yahoo account (which I did) and I can't get Yahoo to include it under my AT&T account - that is why I'm running YPOPs (current version - 0.9.5.14). Not sure what else you'd be interested in.

Hi All

I have been using 0.9.5.14 for a while now with no problems, but recently I started getting error 0x800CCC90 (... your incoming POP3 e-mail server has reported and internal error...' displayed on attempting to receive mail.
I manually emptied my mail box and the error was not reported but on sending myself an email, even plain text the error was again reported.

While browsing the board I noticed that 0.9.6 Alpha was available so just out of curiosity I installed it. The first thing I noticed was that my list of folder to download was now empty, and on attempting to retrieve mail the message 'Sorry, the page you requested was not found' was now displayed.
Filling in the missing folder names had no effect.
Removing them again and taking the ticks out of 'Inbox' and 'Bulk Mail' produced no errors putting the tick back into either one did.

Clicking on the OK button on the error box then brought up the 'Enter Network Password' box even though this was all filled in and the Outlook has been told to remember the password. Clicking on the OK button on this window displays the page not found message for a second time, and you just go around in a circle from then on. If you cancel out of this circle then error then error 0x800CCC92 '....rejected login verify your username and password...'
I tried swapping from the 'Classic' mail box to the new one but the same thing happened.
