Yahoo Pops and Windows Live Mail .. Not in synch!

I installed the latest ypops software and I did what the instructions on the site said but still I can't access my Yahoo account on windows live mail. Nothing works. I am in Fl but still no matter what I do works with the thing. I had Yahoo Pops back in the day maybe early 2000s and it worked then. I don't get why it won't work with WLM any at all. I tried using localhost as smtp and pop server but nothing worked. What am I doing wrong?
