When are you updating!

I was just wondering when a new version would be released. I know you all are busy but it has been almost 6 months!

Its not official, but the beta version fixes quite a few problems. If you haven't tried it, you might like to check it out.

A new version incorporating all the fixes available till date will be made available in the first week of May. I complete my MBA end of this month and will finally get the time to spend on YP again. So look out for some updates then :-)

Hi folks,
I appreciate that this software used to work great with Yahoo, prior to their "enhancements" ealier this year (2008). I also remember reading somewhere that the programmers/authors of this great software actually have real jobs like the rest of us out there.

Can you give us any idea of when we might expect the rollout of 9.6?

I am hoping to get the first beta for 0.9.6 out this weekend, .i.e., by 6th April '08.

But, no guarantees that it will fix all the issues currently being reported.

For instance, support for Classic Interface on the *.mc.yahoo servers will not be there. The new interface will be supported though.

4 months and absolutely nothing so far.

I don't mean to be a pain in the ass, and I understand that people have jobs and lives, etc., but really, how much time and effort does it take to post a written update in the boards, just to let people know how things are (or aren't) progressing?

Cause right now with no activity in 4 months it seems like the project is dead. If it is, then please just announce it so we can all stop waiting for a new version that will never come.
