Please help with this problem. It happened the first time I opened the mac mail
after following your installation steps
The server error encountered was: The server "localhost" refused to allow a connection on port 5058.

Hi
After the most painful set-up in history (involving library package installs and far too much terminal work - everything I bought a Mac to avoid) I have the same problem.
I've tried using a different port (110 - but have a feeling there are now several ypopsrc files on my system). My firewall is off when I test ypops.
Has anyone got a clue (because clearly I haven't)
