New release not working with Windows Live Mail and affecting

I have been trying 9.7.3 with Windows Live Mail in Vista. It does not work.

I get this error:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Yahoo (xxxxx) account. A time-out occurred while communicating with the server.

Server: '127.0.0.1'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC19
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

Also it seems that it has affected my Yahoo Mail. Since installing this version of Ypops I have not been able to get Yahoo Mail to work properly.
I get the following message in Yahoo Mail:
Ouch!
The error, LaunchEmptyResponse, occurred when trying to connect to Yahoo! Mail.

I have been trying again after reading some other posts. Now I have 2 different yahoo addresses. I tried the older one and at last it worked. I added @yahoo.com to my username. Basically followed all the instructions after I switched to Yahoo asia.

So now I can Receive and Send using Windows Live Mail in Vista
