How to install YPOPS?

Hello! I downloaded ypops. i want to use it for yahoo - thunderbird or outlook.
This is what i downloaded. What next? I dont know what to click or what to do with downloaded YPOPS?

I don't see an apparent answer after all this time. If they answered separately can you share the info? (direct to [email protected])

I'm confused, what was advertised as their latest release 9.7 is not avaliable. The next older release downloads as source code "ypops-src-0.9.5.4.zip", and I don't believe I have a compiler of any type installed that will deal with that.

Ypops has not been developed since 2009
If you wish to still access your Yahoo account via a desktop and Ypops! isn't workign for you you will either have to
(a) pay for Yahooo plus
(b) migrate to other free alternatives with POP3/I or IMAP enabled..and they do exist

That was not a helpful reply as to how to install ypops, guys....come on....isnt there a msi or an exec file for it?

obviously, YOU veteran members MUST know how to install it on our computers...so how about giving us a hand, eh?
