How To Configure Free Yahoo Email Account w/ Outlook Expre

I am trying to have my free Yahoo email moved into Outlook Express. After researching online and determining that "free" Yahoo mail is restricted from being set up with Outlook Express, I discovered POPs! as the recommended conduit in which to do so. I downloaded Version 0.9.7.1 today and followed the steps in setting up Outlook Express to tie in to my free yahoo mail account. When I completed the process and selected "SEND-RECEIVE" to see if O.E. would "accept" the current emails in my Yahoo inbox, I got an error message stating that the POP3 server would not connect. I used 127.0.0.1 as the incoming and outgoing settings and followed the instructions carefully to set up my primary Yahoo email account. Same results--no emails transferred into O.E. Any suggestions?
