Hate to be dense... but where is mimepp?

Postby kalahari875 on May 18th, 2004, 5:43 am

I'm trying to build YahooPOPs! for Mandrake 10.0 Official, and I think I have all the required libraries except for mimepp. It says it's on the download area, but for some reason I must be overlooking it. Can someone clue me in?

Thanks.

I got mine here: http://ypops.sourceforge.net/downloads, but it looks like it's down for some reason.

I had to enter that url into my browser manually, then go to the "mimepp" folder to get the package.

The link is functional again.

You can download it from http://ypops.sf.net/downloads/

There are some licensing issues with mimepp. However you can use kde's mimelib as it is the same but a different license. However there is an example missing which YP makes use of. Its possible the license doesn't cover this example and we can use it, otherwise we will need to write it up ourselves, but its not too involved.

You can grab mimelib from http://www.geocities.com/popsmod or anywhere else you may be able to find it.

I tried the KDE version and I get the following error:
Code: Select all
Incorrect mimepp location specified

Are you sure it's woking?
