FedoraCore 3 RPM from latest CVS (0.7.4)

Postby bbe103 on April 1st, 2005, 3:38 pm

Hi folks,
I've prepared a RPM for FC3. If you are interested in you find a download link at http://www.ypops-rpm.de.vu.

At this time it is only tested on my local machine so feel free to give me feedback if you run into problems.

Regards,
birko

I have generated some 64-bit RPMS for FC3

You may download them here:
http://calvin.servepics.com/ypops/ypops-0.7.4-0.FC3.x86_64.rpm
http://calvin.servepics.com/ypops/ypops-debuginfo-0.7.4-0.FC3.x86_64.rpm

The only problem with this RPM is I had to disable the ability to turn off logging. For some reason, the gcc compiler did not like some goto statements.

I have installed ypops-0.7.4-0.FC3.i386.rpm, and used Thunderbird to download my emails.
The connection is good, but the Thunderbird can't receive emails. Although I have set MAX_NUMBER_EMAILS 100, but ypops never minds it. It always checks all my emails, and then get stuck after announcing that downloading ~ 80-90 emails in /etc/ypops/ypops.log file (the Thunderbird don't get any emails although these notice appear in the log file)
Please help me a solution to solve this problem.
Thanks very much.
