error with outlook xp

I would be grateful if you could help. After clicking send/receive to download messages, the ones from my local host inbox seems to work but when it tries to download from yahoo it shows after a while this error message
Task 'yahoo - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Make sure the incoming server is set to 127.0.0.1 and the port value corresponds with YP.
