Does YPOPS requrie commercial Yahoo email account?

I have tried the old and the newest version of YPOPS! None download any mail. My client is Eudora 7.1.0.9 Sponsor's mode. Doesn't seem to have any problem in my setup. I'm wondering if it's because my Yahoo email account is free version, YPOPS! only works with commercial version Yahoo email account? Please advise, Thanks!

Here is the error msg from Eudora:

"Error reading from network Cause: Eudora got tired of waiting for the server. (10100)
Persona <Dominant>
Title Checking>
Status Logging into POP server
Info PASS
Time 8:33:40AM on March 18"

Normally YPOPs! works with any Yahoo! Mail account, unfortunately Yahoo! has made changes that have broke YPOPs! so now it does not work. Anujseth, a developer is working on a new version, though I suspect he must be busy with work and not be able to spend much time working on YPOPs since last log in was Mar 16, 2009

You could try changing your Yahoo! Mail accounts Preferred Content to another region and see if you get POP Access. Yahoo! Asia has worked for many of us users, your could also try Yahoo! UK. See this topic: HowTo change Preferred Content in Yahoo! Mail and Setup POP

Thanks, chrisretusn! I did switch to Yahoo Asia and got pop server function working for now.
