I have installed YPOPs! two days ago and I love it!!
I have Windows XP Home edition and I am on cable. The receipt of the Yahoo mail is slower then from the other accounts I noticed, specially when I log in, in the morning and have to retrieve all the postings (which is normally between 70 - 100), but I just have changed my settings to retrieve only 40 messages at once, which maybe helps a bit.
Never the less, I love the program so far, since it will save me a lot of time.
However today I am keep receiving following message over and over:
Het maken van een verbinding met de server is mislukt. Account: 'Yahoo Email', Server: 'localhost', Protocol: SMTP, Poort: 25, Beveiligd(SSL): Nee, Socket-fout: 10061, Foutnummer: 0x800CCC0E
De server heeft de verbinding onverwachts afgebroken. Mogelijke oorzaken zijn problemen met de server, netwerkproblemen of te lange inactiviteit. Account: 'Yahoo Email', Server: 'localhost', Protocol: POP3, Poort: 110, Beveiligd(SSL): Nee, Foutnummer: 0x800CCC0F
I managed once to receive a number of emails, after I rebooted my laptop, but since then it is this error
I checked my settings and they look fine. I am able to access my Yahoo Email in the normal way, via the web as well, so I guess I am not locked.
And I am able to send/receive other accounts via Oultlook Express as well normally.
Any advice is appreciated!
