Have you configured OE as per the instructions here?

Viewing <http://forums.ypopsemail.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2687>, I find that, yes, I *have followed the instructions to for setting-up the YPOPs account in my OExpress. I still get that same error message. (I've also set my anti-virus program--Sunbelt's VIPRE--to the following Email settings: 'I use Outlook Express' and 'I use another email program'/ advanced: POP/SMTP settings: Inbound (POP3): 110; Outbound (SMTP): 25.)

I might mention that there are one or two points in your set-up directions which are not completely spelled-out and for which I myself would be grateful. They are mainly the following:
#4. enter your email address [NOT the one for Yahoo, I assume]
#7+ after setting the In and Out to 127.0.0.1, there's no mention of checking either box, or leaving them checked or unchecked, for 'Log on using...' or 'My server requires...'
#8. Doesn't part of everyone's Yahoo 'account name' include 'yahoo.com'? If so, maybe directions should suggest supplying that info.
#15. Should the Advanced tab info be concerned with Out -25 and In -110 settings? And should either of those check-boxes be checked for 'This server requires'? Neither of mine are checked.

Thanks for any help you can give to make this work for me.

Today I got a slightly different error message:
"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'YPOPs', Server: '127.0.0.1', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F"
I still wonder why if I feel I've done the settings correctly.

At work with outlook express mails I usually have one problem, this is corrupt mails, this problem is very bad,and for solve it some time ago I started to use-extract from dbx,it recommended for me friends,as they said tool is free,it can too repair mailboxes in Outlook Express format and extract emails, when it is possible, repair messages from all folders and extract .dbx files, even from Deleted Items, moves to the preview mode, where our customers can take a look at the emails, that will be retrieved during the next stage, works with all Windows operating systems, starting from Windows 98 to Windows Vista (Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003).
